The surface of the cell wall becomes porous as a result of CIC’s unique spray-drying technique so that it looks like a sea of tiny pinholes under the microscope. The Chlorella algae thus achieves the full effect without a pulverising process, which would mean breaking open the cell walls. This means that CHLORENERGY® doesn’t lose the abundance of valuable nutrients that are usually lost when the cell walls are broken open.
The Chikugo region, where CHLORENERGY® is grown, is ideal for Chlorella algae due to its special spring waters. Cultivation in outdoor pools with a depth of only 10 to 15cm guarantees the best possible penetration of sunlight and thus stable chlorophyll production.
