Unisex hat / beanie for EMF shielding of the head, made from Silver Elastic material. Luxuriously soft and light material, comfortable to wear for day, office, travel or at night, Silver Elastic is very flexible and easily adapts to various shapes. Due to the high content of Silver, the material is very durable and has high washability without attenuation loss.

Can be worn together with the scarf for total head and neck protection.

Available in 3 sizes:
Small – approx. 20cm diameter x 40cm circumference
Medium – approx. 22cm diameter x 44cm circumference
Large – approx. 25cm diameter x 50cm circumference

Silver Elastic has an attenuation of 50 dB, electrically conductive on both sides, surface conductivity 0.5 ohm. Shielding remains constant, even when stretched.
Composition: 80% Spandex, 20% Silver

Made in Italy on a limited scale. Can be despatched within 2-7 days.

Composition: 80% Spandex, 20% Silver

Cleaning & care instructions: wash with special detergent, gentle cycle at 30o C,  no ironing, no tumble drying, no bleaching, no chemical dry-cleaning

Caution: the fabric can suffer discoloration over time and has limited durability; stains have no effect on the screening attenuation; wash before first use; no hand-washing

The above mentioned screening attenuation values always apply to 1Ghz. The screening attenuation of the fabric is regularly tested in an EMC laboratory, the measurement setups are due to the following standards: ASTM D4935-10, IEEE Std 299-2006, IEEEE Std 1128-1998, ASTM A698/A698M-07.
